As the pandemic hit the world in March 2020, the world almost stalled every business and the most affected parts of the community were, the daily wage workers and small scale businesses like, small restaurants, textile shops, roadside vendors etc. Their business could not survive the consequent waves of the virus all over the country, with the government imposing strict lockdowns. Livelihoods of millions were directly affected all over the country as the impact of the pandemic. The DORAI Foundation has raised funds and has contributed by providing COVID relief materials to the needy like groceries, vegetables, clothing, sanitary pads etc. DF has conducted two relief missions for the COVID pandemic, one in 2020 followed by another one in 2021 when the second wave imparted maximum damage on the population economically.
